If you want to add a touch of class to your home then a conservatory is one of the best ways to accomplish this. A conservatory gives you and your family somewhere to relax and enjoy nature no matter what the weather is like outside.

At Anderway Ltd we have a huge amount of experience in creating conservatories for all types of properties. Because of our experience and extremely high standards, you can be certain that you’ll be thrilled with the final results.

Some people fear that having a conservatory built will be beyond their budget but our clients are often pleasantly surprised by how affordable conservatories can be. There are multiple options available so no matter what type of property you have and your current budget, we’ll be able to find something to suit.

A big plus with conservatories is that they’re currently exempt from building regulations in both England and Wales. However there are still building guidelines that must be met, which we will of course see to.

Conservatory types

Below are the most common types of conservatories you can get and their features:

  • Lean-to – Lean-to conservatories are a very good option when you have limited space to work with. Their simple design means you’re able to make the most of the space you have available and are a very cost-effective option.
  • Edwardian – Edwardian conservatories have a square or rectangular shape with a pitched roof. Their generous size means they’re perfect for dining rooms, play areas and storage space.
  • Victorian – Victorian conservatories are extremely popular in the UK and for good reason. Their elegant design means they’re suited to almost any type of property.
  • P-shaped – P-shaped conservatories will typically combined features of both Edwardian and Victorian designs. The real benefit of a p-shaped conservatory is that they offer a lot of space. Also, because of their shape, you can split the conservatory into two separate parts. For example, one side of the conservatory could be used as a dining area with the other side as a play area for young children.
